What we collect, and what we don't.
Most of this notice is short because most of the answer is ‘nothing’. Here is exactly what this site, and the people behind it, do with information about you — in plain language, with nothing left out.
Last updated October 18, 2026
Who we are
LeanSimCorp is an industrial engineering and simulation consultancy based in India, working with manufacturing and operations teams since 2021. For anything in this notice — a question, a correction, a request about your information — write to projects@leansimcorp.com. That address is read by the people who do the work, not a mailbox.
What this notice covers
This notice is about leansimcorp.com, the site you are reading, and about what happens when you write to us. It also describes, briefly, the two other LeanSimCorp sites linked from here: the training platform at app.leansimcorp.com, where you can create an account and take a course, and the blog at blog.leansimcorp.com.
Sites we link to that are not ours — YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp — have their own notices, and what happens there is governed by those, not by this page.
Browsing this site stores nothing on your device
Reading leansimcorp.com places nothing in your browser. No cookies, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, images and the homepage video are served from our own domain, so opening a public page sends nothing to a third party. We checked this in a browser rather than assumed it, and the site is built so that adding any third-party script is a deliberate decision rather than a default.
That is also why there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to ask your consent for.
The expertise pages do not embed YouTube players. Links to YouTube, the training platform, the blog and social sites take you to separate destinations. If you follow one, that destination’s privacy notice applies. The owner-only sign-in and editing tools use Firebase Authentication and Firestore; they are separate from ordinary public browsing.
Server logs
Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider — Google Firebase Hosting — which records each request in a server log: the IP address it came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We use those logs, if at all, to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. They are held by Google under its infrastructure terms, for the period Google retains them, and are not combined with anything else we hold about you. Firebase servers may be located outside India.
When you write to us
If you email projects@leansimcorp.com or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send: your name, your email address or phone number, your company if you mention it, and the content of the message — which may include a description of your plant, a layout or some data. We use it to reply, to scope the work you are asking about and, if work goes ahead, to do it.
Email is handled by our email provider. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted and are carried by WhatsApp, which is part of Meta, under its own terms.
Correspondence is kept while the conversation, and any work that follows from it, is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. If a conversation did not lead to work and you would rather we deleted it, ask and we will.
Project work
Work done under a written scope or an NDA — the model, the workbook, the data you supplied and the assumptions written down — is governed by that agreement first and by this notice second.
We retain project files after handover so that a model can be re-run, extended or referred back to when the next question comes; that continuity is part of what a partner gets from us. How long files are kept, who may access them and what happens to them at the end are matters for the scope and the NDA, and if you want them handled in a particular way, that is the place to say so.
Nothing from a project appears on this site. Work is described by sector and scale only — never by name, layout, drawing or dataset — and any case study we publish is written the same way.
The training platform
The training platform at app.leansimcorp.com asks you to create an account so that your progress and assessments can be saved. You can sign in with a Google account or with an email address and password. Either way, what we hold is your name and your email address. Sign-in itself is handled by Firebase Authentication, a Google service: if you choose a password, Firebase stores it in a form we cannot read, and we never see it.
Course subscriptions are paid through Razorpay, a payment processor. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay directly and never pass through us. In Razorpay’s dashboard we can see your name, your email address, the amount and the payment reference, and — if we open the individual payment — how you paid: for UPI, the UPI ID you paid from; for a card, the network, its last four digits, and whether you chose EMI. That is what Razorpay shows every merchant; we never see a full card number, expiry or CVV, and we do not store any of it ourselves. Razorpay’s handling of your payment details is governed by Razorpay’s own privacy policy.
Account and progress data is kept for as long as your account exists. To close an account and have its data removed, write to projects@leansimcorp.com from the address on the account.
The blog
The blog at blog.leansimcorp.com is a separate site, and it is the one LeanSimCorp site that does set cookies. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which articles are read, and it shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Both set cookies in your browser; AdSense may use them to choose which ads you see, including based on other sites you have visited. Those cookies are Google’s, and Google’s privacy policy describes how it treats the data. You can control ad personalization in your Google account settings, and a browser’s cookie controls apply as usual.
The blog also lets you sign in, purely so that you can leave a comment. That sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, as on the training platform, and gives us your name and email address. Signing in is optional — reading the blog does not require it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete correspondence or a training account, and withdraw consent where something rests on it. Write to projects@leansimcorp.com. We reply within 1–2 days, seven days a week, and act on a request without undue delay.
If you are in India, these rights follow from the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place with its own data protection law, that law gives you equivalent rights and you can exercise them the same way. If you believe we have not handled something properly you can complain to the data protection authority where you live — though we would rather hear from you first, and put it right.
Under 18
This site and the consultancy are for businesses and working engineers, and the training platform is for people learning a professional tool. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, tell us and we will remove it.
Security
This site is static and holds no visitor data, which is the strongest protection there is: there is nothing here to breach. Correspondence, accounts and project files live with providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest, and access to them is limited to the people doing the work. No system is perfect. If something happened that put you at risk, we would tell you, and tell you what we were doing about it.
Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material — a new kind of data collected, a new provider — is called out plainly rather than slipped in.
